Trapped

 

 

Trapped inside her mind, she had nowhere to hide. Memories flooding, with no escape route, she was drowning.

Now in the depths of her mind, she suffocates. Her memories engulf her, leaving her helpless.

She’s lost in her own thoughts now, nowhere to be found.

She finds solace in the silence it brings.

“Ring, ring” the telephone rings.

She’s brought back to shore, only if she could have had a little more.

More of that peace, the serenity, the opposite of her reality.
