He had a knack & passion for Cricket. So he followed it right to the U.K & his hunch was right.
He quickly became a cricket legend; scoring the 1st 100 by a West Indian while helping curate a unique West Indian style of play for the game.
A JACK of MOST trades; Sir Constantine went on to be a broadcast journalist, an author, a barrister & a political activist.
He was a advocate against racial discrimination. Described as a compassionate radical with a easy humor & unswerving moral standards. In 1962 he was knighted & served as Trinidad’s high commissioner to the U.K
